The Monkseaton and District Pool League has been running since 1984, it's success has resulted in a bigger and more competitive league.
Every year we enjoy the addition of new teams entering the league, trying their luck in conquering a competitive league. We are always open for new teams entering the league and increasing the leagues status. Each year we offer the chance for every registered player to compete in singles, doubles and 3-a-side competitions, running alongside the league.
Each March we hold a Glass cue competition, held in the holders' winning pub. The event is a charity event, with all money raised going to the tournament winners' preference. Keep checking the websites for further information. The current holder is Nathan Irving from the Seahorse Pub, Whitley Bay who has won it for 3 seasons in a row!
